D.I.R Consulting was established in 1985 and is registered with the State of Ohio

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our mission is to provide joy to those less fortunate, giving with a Christian heart 

 

 

Our company was not originally established as a for profit company. I established this company to work with the Veterans Administration, because I was having a problem getting them to work with me as an individual.  After working with them on the first house I co-built, we gained our credibility. After the first house was a reality, they came to me with plans for homes, enabling me to work with the veterans and make their dreams a reality.

 

We then worked with a builder on a house that would become a group home. These individuals touched me like no one ever has before, thus our relationship with non profit organizations began. This is where we have donated our efforts for almost 20 years. We have helped provide wheelchair lift vans, raised donations of cash and products, and convinced other companies to donate time and labor.

 

Our Lord Jesus Christ has always provided for us in good times and bad, do challenged individuals deserve any less when they are His special children ?

 

My wife has a gift of caring for and loving dogs. God has called her to help rescue His creatures from Puppy Mills and Shelters. She bathes and grooms them, gives them lots of love and helps find them Loving Forever Homes. It is amazing to see a shy abused dog turn into a loving forever pet.

Company and owner facts

 

We are located in Mentor, Ohio about 20 minutes East of Cleveland, near Lake Erie.

 

We are a one owner company with subcontractors.

 

I am married with 2 children, 3 step children, 1 granddaughter, 1 grandson, and 3 dogs.

 

I am part of the worship team at my church, serving as a computer projection and sound man, webmaster and system maintainer.

 

We are Christian based, and we have a strong desire to provide for others as Our Lord Jesus Christ has provided for us.

 

My wife is a Certified Activity Director, working with the elderly, and a strong addition to all we accomplish.

She also rescues, and fosters, abused and abandoned dogs and helps set up transport to move dogs to temporary foster homes. Cherished Cockers Rescue

What can be accomplished

when there is no profit ?

 

When I started this was a question I asked myself often. It started out being just a house for a friend. Then it turned into reviewing plans for individuals, architects, organizations. Next building group homes, a new challenge in itself. Then it was getting goods donated for the individuals living in the group home. A contract from a professional photographer was obtained for a new layout at a home and garden show for a girl in a wheelchair. A van was sold to a non profit organization with the company donating a lift and other expenses. Special individuals were taken to major league baseball games at no expense and given hats, balls, food, drinks, and other items. We attended picnics prepared by the special individuals living in the homes. Christmas parties at their homes were always a special event. We have attended silent auctions, awards dinners, planning meetings and work sessions for foundation budgets. We have repaired reloaded and donated complete computer systems at no expense to the organizations.

 

To answer the question, with Jesus Christ at the helm, "anything you want for the good of others" can be accomplished.
